an osvaldo family Italian restaurant at Boon Tay Street.

enter this rich Italian heritage restuarant is akin to entering Osvaldo's home. Inside is a calm oasis of carpeted floor, with wall pictures and keepsakes imported from Piedmont Italy. An almost living gallery of rustic heirlooms have in fact insulted me from the mad crowd and hot afternoon, outside.

International Architecture Award 2012

there is a saying, that "every good stuff has good ending".......... so this is the International Architecture Award.

considered the world most prestigious, this award is dedicated to honor the recognition of excellence in architecture and urbanism.

finally a Daniel Libekind's maiden production that had awaken the entire world. Keppel and little RedDot are extremely proud that this Americaise Reflections has achieved our dream.

Unlike art, an architecture work is only as good as those who breathe life into it.

The Gift of Time

It is awesome.

at best this is "Art meets Luxury meets Nostalgia" in a exclusive sensory experience at the historical Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. Another Hermès community arty commitment, this exhibition is the brainchild of American artist Hilton McConnico and it employs humorous and multi dimersional visuals to create a whimsical timeline.

surprised by the long quell forming despite this hot and humid morning and during its last run today.

this exhibit is not about Hermès trying to master Time, but rather it offers Time to understand the ever changing world around us. Here the poetic displays tinted with light humour, a variety of colours and series of sensory discoveries are made.

 

Cheval d'Orient [dinner set 2]

after an arduous wait, this is the moments.

The arrival of Hermès large "bouquetiere" Vase, open Vegetable Dish and large Oval Platter, and the mother of all Soup Tureen. With these it completes my collection of the bespoke fine porcelain.

Shaped inspired by the nineteenth century earthware, it comes with wide rim featuring ornate polychromatic pattern and saddle cloths galloping horses.

an extra rim edged with fine lines of gold are painted by hand and burnished..

sweet dream are made of these!!!     and next is the soirée arrangement.

The Admiral

an enchanted morning cruise on board The Admiral to the southern coast, with Alvin's family and my brother.  Indeed memorable.

                                   it was a hurried afternoon drive to The Knolls restuarant.

Tranquility and exclusivity is immediately felt when the moments we entered the long private drive way meanders up to the masterpiece Capella, designed by Foster + Partner Architect.

We are there for the Resturant Week promotional lunch.

Entering Knolls is equally enthralling. Savor the culinary delights with an expansive sea view and over looking the hotel swimming pool, it is indeed a rewarding time with my family.

Hepburn Bed

this is ones extra Scandinavian affairs my wife is extremely jealous.

it is because of my intense fidelity i had with Mattrew Hilton's Hepburn Bed. Not to be mistaken, Mattrew had no any relationship with the infamous Paris Hilton.

Its beautifull solid walnut leg frame extending an elegant Ballerina posture that effortlessly hoists the mattress in the air, is an exceeding beautifull dance piece.

took a leave from work today, in order to witness first hand watch over Marquis workmen installing the state of art wall unit at Reflections.
