This times, it is the rarely available Lezard Doublure Cuir Argent Inmgio Sanguine PHW, the rocker bracelet that screams for attention.

Seemed my affinity with Hermès affair is divine destiny. Thankful and grateful

floating Louis Vuitton Maison

First in the world, that right !!!!

This four storey Louis Vuitton Maison island, floating at MarinaBaySands waterfront is like a sparkling diamond during night fall with beautiful reflective glittering images.

Tomorrow night is going to be a big star-studded party preview opening.. Designed by Peter Marino, the same american architect behind some of the largest boutiques for other luxury labels such as Channel, Dior and Fendi.

Resembling like a yacht, this nautical inspired boutique will have the Travel Room at mezzanine level, dedicated to the romance of travelling luggage and travel accessories. Just like the maisons in Paris and Tokyo, it comes with an Art Gallery showing contemporary art exhibits. Interestingly, there exist a Loggia overlooking the financial town for chilling out.

An excited Mr.Jean Baptise Debains, president of the french label said." This is an expression of our belief and optimism in the future of this dynamic City".

sexy RedDot

Unbelievable but in reality, this little RedDot has broken into Global Language Monitor's Top 10 list of fashion capital of the world.

Disbelief is the responses and many are unconvinced.

Even our very own London based fashion designer, Ashley Isham made the most unbelievable remarks: "How can Singapore beat fashion cities like Tokyo and Berlin when half the population here are in T-shirts, slippers and shorts?"

Why the negativity? Still having doubt over the jury expert decision? and i beg to differ.

Unknowing many had failed to realise that this once a sleepy fishing town is already making great strides to become a sexy cosmopolitan city. This is due largely to its many initiatives like the operation of humming Casino, the debut of world first night F1 jewel race that virtually glittered the night away and the staging of Asia Fashion Exchange programmes. Last in the least, is the ever changing cityscape of foreign imported building that had elicits awe.

What really matter, is the whole generation of this fun loving denizens enjoying the zooming circuit party, gaga-ing over the Audi Fashion Festival, dinning with newly arrived Michelin starred food and living under these designers' homes. These events and newly found lifestyle are conducted under the full media coverages beaming live to the world stage.
This is most important. Edgy and chic. A Sleepless City in the Orient

Yves Saint Laurent once quoted: " Over the years, i have learned that what is important in the dress is the woman who is wearing it."  So......... true.

Festival des Métiers -porcelaine painting

this is Peintre Sur Porcelaine [porcelain painter], the lovely Mademoiselle Aude Novikoff and an opportunity to get up close.

Beautiful lady with an artistic flair, combined with a steely hand make a perfect candidate for Hermès artist. She is one of the four resident professional painters from medieval Limoges, south west-central France fame for producing traditional fine Bone China artworks.

Festival des Métiers -making of Bearn

It would be hard not to be enthralled by the dedication and immense skills of Maroguinier [the leatherworker] Valerie Vasquez. easily consumes about 5 hrs to complete a Bearn wallet.

in the process of waxing the linen thread before the stitching, the estimation of the single thread length to cover the perimeter the wallet is of upmost importance, inorder not to compromise on its integrity

with the help of the awl (pointed tool), the traditional saddle stitch (loop stitching works) is being carried out on the epsom Bearn. The whole process can lasted about one and the half hour.

Hermès Bearn

it was such an exuberance buying mood yesterday.

This Bearn Portefeuille av Lezard Nilo Pl has been awaiting patiently for me at Hermès Takashimaya. Beside it, is another sexy and pinkish young formidable contender named croc compact Constance, offering the most intense competition ever.

Still in my dreamy stage, this Bearn wallet is fighting very hard for her life and shining its iridescence to attract my attention, and simply stared at me for acceptance. The battle lasted less than half and hour and eventually it was......... voilà !!! Bearn the emerged winner, not due to its superiority but because it costed less than a third $$$$$$$.

Without much delay, the deliverance of this birthday gift, is so sweet and exceptionally precious. Bonjour darling Bearn, my beginning romance with the exoticà.

Cheval d'Orient -[corporate tea set]

i have a confession to make.

You know, all these so call collectors inherently had a greedy appetite and as always endless of excuses and justifications for their continuing purchase. Almost they are infected with a special kind of unexplained disease, only know to the extremely privileged us.

So, i am back with this incredulously attractive gift pack.

The patterns on the saucer recreates border designs found on Arab saddle cloths and shields. Whereas these cups have horses and braids prominently featured. This package is indeed eye candy!!!

Festival des Métiers

a wonderful RENDEZVOUS with  festival desMetiers.

Unbelievable, hot on my recent Hermès purchased and receiving this great piece of news while sipping my morning breadfast tea..............
                   ##### Hermès arriving in town #####

Yes, that is the traveling Atelier, the Greek god of Hermès, was a great messenger traversing the immortal realms to bring messages from heavens to earth. Making Singapore its first Asian pit stop.

Be able to close up right so closely with these legendary craftmen that had delighted the world with their Birkin, is like a dream comes true.  What a Parisian affair and the air of Frenchie arroma here, and the precious opportunity to view their traditional skills in full public displayed.

These ten handpicked artisans were specially flown into town at Paragon Mall atrium, here to celebrates this French label superior craftsmanship that goes into the 138yrs old brand's signature leather, goods, bags, scarves and jewelleries.

Bumped into this stylo-milo Monsieur with his fabulous "travelling Birkin" and a fruitful eye feasting of "wildlife sightings"
